I was best man at John and Sheenagh's wedding. We were both undergraduates in the same Physics year at Imperial College and we shared a flat during our PhD years. Although we had lost contact over recent years, I have so many fond memories of our student days together and was shocked and saddened to find out recently about John's untimely death.
This candle was first lit on the 20th of February 2019. It was relit on the 5th of December 2022 and will burn for 1 more minute.
