A loving husband, father and friend; John will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.
Throughout his life, John had many achievements and created a host of memories, especially with his family. With friends spread across the globe, this page is an opportunity for people who knew John to come together and celebrate his full and happy life.
In recognition that not everyone will be able to join us at the funeral we will update this site afterwards with the order of service.

We can vouch for John's great barman talents at making margheritas and manning the BBQ when we joined them for dinner on Little Cayman earlier this year. John's other amazing talent was to entertain with his amazing stories based on his lifetime of travel and varied interests....a wonderful raconteur. We will miss him enormously. I was best man at John and Sheenagh's wedding. We were both undergraduates in the same Physics year at Imperial College and we shared a flat during our PhD years. Although we had lost contact over recent years, I have so many fond memories of our student days together and was shocked and saddened to find out recently about John's untimely death.
